A5/17 LICENSING ACT 2003: 2 DUNHEVED ROAD SOUTH CR7 6AD

The Licensing Sub-Committee considered the Application for a Premises Licence at the London Croydon Hotel, 2 Dunheved Road South, West Croydon and the representations received as contained in the report of the Executive Director ‘Place'.

The Sub-Committee also considered the verbal representations made at the hearing by the applicant for the premises licence and his representative.

The Sub-Committee, having reference to the licensing objectives under the Licensing Act 2003 and the Council Licensing Policy RESOLVED to grant the application for the premises licence at London Croydon Hotel, 2 Dunheved Road South, West Croydon.

The reason for the decision was that the Sub-Committee believed that the application supported the promotion of the licensing objectives, particularly the licensing objective of prevention of public nuisance. The Sub-Committee was satisfied that the applicant had made the necessary arrangements for underground parking for its customers and had also agreed to install a noise limiter within the premises. The applicant had also confirmed to the Sub-Committee that there would be no function room within the premises which would ensure that there would not be any large party within the premises.
