The Licensing Committee considered the report of the Executive Director of Planning and Environment proposing variations to the existing designation of two sites as a licence street' for street trading under the provisions of the London Local Authorities Act 1990 (as amended). The Licensing Committee also considered applications to vary the street trading licences at the two sites.
a) Having heard from a representative for the applicant, the Licensing Committee RESOLVED to vary the site designation on the footway outside 59-61 North End, Croydon, CR0 1TG to allow for an increased width of 3.5m from the drainage grill, as set out in Appendix A, and to vary the street trading licence to allow for hours of display of 11:00 to 21:00 Monday to Sunday.
b) The Licensing Committee RESOLVED to vary the site designation on the footway outside 1350 London Road, Norbury, SW16 4AE to allow for an increased length of 8m, as set out in Appendix B, and to vary the street trading licence to allow for the display of household goods instead of tables and chairs.
