The Licensing Sub-Committee considered the application for a premises licence at the AFC Croydon Athletic Sports Ground and the representations received from a local Residents Association, as contained in the report of the Executive Director of Development and Environment.
The Sub-Committee also considered the verbal representation made at the hearing by a representative of the applicant and two local elected Members representing the local Residents Association.
The applicant agreed to amend the application to include a condition that:
The premises license holder shall ensure that the contact details of local taxi companies are available at the premises for customers to use and shall take all reasonable steps, by way of signage at the premises and by verbal requests, to ensure that customrs request that taxis collect them from the licesned premises and not from Mayfield Road.
The Sub-Committee, having regard to the four licensing objectives of the Licensing Act 2003, RESOLVED that with this condition, addtional to those already agreed with the Police, the amended application be GRANTED.
