The Licensing Sub-Committee considered representations from the premises licence holder of 791 London Road, Thornton Heath, Croydon contained in the report of the Executive Director ‘Place' against the interim steps decision to suspend the premises licence which was taken on 12 February 2016.
The Sub-Committee adjourned to consider written representations submitted on the day by the premises licence holder in order to ensure that all parties had time to read the new material. The Sub-Committee also considered the verbal representations made at the hearing by the premises licence holder, his representative and the police.
The Sub-Committee having regard to the four licensing objectives of the Licensing Act 2003 RESOLVED to uphold the decision to suspend the premises licence made as interim steps on 12 February 2016. This is to ensure the promotion of of the licensing objective of preventing crime and disorder.
