Extension and Variation of Asset Based Floating Support Contract for People with Mental Health Needs

The purpose of the report is to request an extension by way of variation in line with Croydon’s Tender & Contract Regulations 30.3 for the Asset Based Housing Support Service with the provider Hestia for a period of 11 months from 1st November 2023 – 30th September 2024 beyond the original contract term.

The service provides support services to vulnerable Croydon residents of over the age of 18 years with Mental Health needs who require housing related support. The contract supports adults to maintain their tenancies and avoid crisis escalation. The service provides one to one support to individuals for a period of time to help during a period of difficulty.

The extension period will be used to design a specification for a new support service that aligns with local and national strategic priorities and incorporates service users with both learning disabilities and mental health.
